Charles Taylor InsureTech strengthens leadership team with senior hires
Charles Taylor InsureTech (InsureTech) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Tom Crapper as Practice Director, Delegated Authority and Laurence King as Practice Director, General Insurance.
InsureTech has six Practice Directorates which directly align its service delivery with client need. These are the Life, Health & Pensions; General Insurance; Delegated Authority; Data & Analytics; London Market; and Latin America Practices.
Laurence King will join InsureTech in January as Practice Director of General Insurance. He has over 30 years’ experience in the London and international insurance & reinsurance markets working as Management Consultant at Marsh, Operations Director at THB and Colemont and in Broking at Willis and Heaths. Laurence will build the practice by matching InsureTech’s solutions with the practical and aspirational requirements of new and existing clients.
Laurence has a large network in the international markets, having travelled extensively throughout his career, with particularly strong connections in Latin America - a key area of focus for InsureTech as it builds its global offering.
Tom Crapper joins from KPMG where he was a management consultant in the CIO Advisory Practice. He worked with insurance clients to define and shape their business and technical strategies and to deliver operational solutions. Tom heads up the Delegated Authority Practice with initial responsibility to manage the delivery and provision of the DA SATS service, part of the London Market Target Operating Model. InsureTech was selected as preferred partner to deliver the Lloyd’s TOM delegated authority solution by the London Market Group in October 2017.
InsureTech has also appointed Glenda Parry to its London Market Practice as Portfolio Manager of its Enterprise Process & Document Management solution, Kcenter. She joins InsureTech with over 30 years’ insurance experience having worked at a variety of organisations, including JLT and QBE.
